Anton received an ADS award in 2007 and completed his Masters of Arts in Development Studies at Murdoch University, Western Australia in 2009.
Anton holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Policy Studies and Postgraduate Certificate in Policy Studies at Murdoch University, a BA in Language & Communication and a Certificate in Music from the University of PNG. He also holds a Diploma in Teaching (Primary) from Sonoma Adventist College.
Anton was the founding Director of Community Development & Training Institute. He was selected amongst 17 Papua New Guineans to participate in the inaugural Emerging Pacific Leaders Dialogue (EPLD) in 2006 and was one of the founding members of Leadership PNG.
He is also a member of the Institute of Australian Geographers (IAG). He joined the Asia Pacific Study Group under the IAG and currently contributes to cutting edge research into customary land tenure, migration, food security and livelihood strategies within oil palm economic zones in PNG. Anton currently teaches English at St. Joseph’s International Catholic College at Port Moresby and serves as a part-time Geography lecturer at Pacific Adventist University.
