Delmae completed her Grade 10 at the Kambubu Adventist High School in East New Britain Province in 1974 and was awarded a NATSCHOL to study Chemistry at Unitech in 1975. She also holds a Diploma in Public Administration from the Instituteof Public Administration.
Delmae was the Administrative Officer for the AusAID funded Capacity Building in Distance Education Program at UPNG (now the Open College). Delmae was awarded an ADS in 2007 to study at James Cook University and graduated in April 2010 with a Bachelor in Business (Management and International Business).
She is currently working with the Centre Management and Student Support of the UPNG Open College. Delmae wants to be part of this Association to provide mentoring and support in ways possible to the young and aspiring Papua New Guineans, especially women.
