Girigi, 39, completed grade 12 at Aiyura National High School in 1991 and in 1992 & 1993 attended UPNG to do her Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She left the program when she was awarded a James Crawford Scholarship (AIDAB) in 1994 to do an Advanced Diploma in Business majoring in Accounting & Finance at Canberra Institute of TAFE ACT.
On her return, Girigi was employed by Steamships shipping as an Accounts Clerk, then moved on to FINCORP as the Team Leader Finance & Admin. After 3 years she joined More Than Marketing where she was appointed the Sales & Marketing Manager after 2 years. This challenging role brought out the Marketing & Sales side of Girigi and in 2010 she was offered a job by Post PNG Ltd as the Senior Retail Manager where she is currently working.
Girigi has always wanted to be in a position that will enable her to contribute directly to the development of PNG and believes that Post PNG Ltd and the PNGAAA will enable her to fulfill that dream.
