The Most Significant Change after my studies has been my communication skills. I have more self esteem and can confidently communicate at all levels. Before my studies, I was working as a field scientist working with farmers and animals on the farm. I had a young family then and so I was amongst the farmers and their livestock’s during the day and a mother and wife in the evening. I was very shy and my self esteem was very low and this was evident in my workplace, particularly during meetings and workshops within the department.
After my studies, I am now confidently presenting reports, making decisions at manager’s meetings and even arguing over views I feel will have a significant effect on the agriculture sector.
